Renowned curators, art dealers, directors, publishers and photo editors will assemble for an extraordinary two days during CONTACT to provide portfolio reviews for photographers of all levels in commercial or fine art photography. Some of the most highly respected international professionals in the field will provide one-on-one critiques for photographers seeking guidance on career development and opportunities for publishing and exhibiting internationally.

Participants sign up with selected reviews for three to six 20-minute individual sessions. Every effort will be made to match participants with their choice of reviewers – space is limited so register early to ensure your place.

Portfolio Review participants will be entitled to receive a print of their work up to 24 inches wide courtesy of HP and will be eligible to participate in the juried Portfolio Review Exhibition, selected by reviewers, that will be presented by HP at Red Bull 381 Projects from May 6 to 24.

An exhibition of images by participants from CONTACT’s Portfolio Reviews are specially selected by each of the participating reviewers. This exhibition represents the best work seen in all disciplines, including fine, art, commercial and documentary photography. Visitors to the exhibition are invited to cast a vote for their favourite image. The Hewlett-Packard Prize for Photography will be awarded to 5 recipients with the most votes at the end of the month.
